Old Town Hall, Old City, Bratislava

The Old Town Hall stands between Main Square and Primate's Square and is among Bratislava's oldest buildings. Its tower dates from the 13th century. The hall comprises four buildings in different architectural styles: Jakub House, Pawer House, Unger House and Aponi Palace. It served as the town hall from the 15th to the 19th century, but during that time also housed a prison and a mint and hosted celebrations and trade. Today it contains the City Museum, with exhibitions on Bratislava's history.
