Tolerance Lutheran Church, Historic Centre, Krupina

The church is a major town landmark dating from the late 18th century, linked to the Edict of Toleration (1781). It was built in the Neoclassical style in 1784–1786. Most of its original furnishings have not survived. It had a stone baptismal font with two metal bowls. In 1820, the altar was moved to the west side and given a new altarpiece by Letač, a painter from Banská Bystrica; the old painting was placed in the sacristy. A new organ purchased in 1889 was installed on the east side. After a major fire in 1824, the congregation decided to build a new tower, completed in 1829.
